Originally from Manchester, I moved to the North East to study at Newcastle University where I graduated in 2007, and it has been my home ever since. I am dedicated to postgraduate education and passed the Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons examination from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry but have a particular interest in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and cosmetic braces, being proficient in Invisalign, 6 Month Smiles and the Inman Aligner.
I have completed numerous courses and learned from leaders in their fields including the prestigious one-to-one 18 month implant course at Sheffield University and a year long aesthetic and restorative dentistry course with Dr Chris Orr. I enjoy putting nervous patients at ease and helping them overcome their fear of coming to the dentist and take great pride in providing high quality dental treatment. Working at the Dental Hospital as a part time Associate Clinical Lecturer where I teach final year dental students is also a great part of my week.
Outside of work I like to stay active, playing 5 a side football and squash. I enjoy skiing and am an enthusiastic golfer when time permits. I also love watching as much football as I can get away with.
